Hello everyone,I'm working on a small, independent study related to the EFFUSE project's goal of monitoring local river quality. I'm specifically interested in the issue of microplastic contamination in tributaries around Košice.Since my resources are limited, I am looking for advice on the most reliable, low-cost field sampling and initial filtration methods for microplastics (ideally down to 300 $\mu\text{m}$ or smaller).Has anyone had success using DIY or modified commercial equipment (like plankton nets with specific mesh sizes, or cost-effective filtration setups) for collecting samples before lab analysis? Any practical tips on avoiding contamination during the field collection phase would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your expertise.
