Using Smart Online Systems to Manage Traffic Fines

Hello everyone I wanted to share something I’ve found useful that also ties into improving urban efficiency and reducing unnecessary travel. In the UAE, there’s a system called Emirates Vehicle Gate (EVG), which allows residents to check and pay traffic fines entirely online. Because of this, drivers don’t need to physically go to traffic offices, which in turn can reduce congestion, emissions from repeated trips, and wasted time.

I’ve personally used EVG to quickly look up my fines by vehicle plate or licence details and then pay them using digital methods. It’s been a real game-changer for me in terms of convenience. If you’re interested : evgfinecheck-ae.com/ .

I think systems like EVG are a great example of how technology can help make transportation more sustainable and more user-friendly. Does anyone here know of similar platforms in other countries? Or are there other smart-city tools you’ve encountered that help reduce the environmental footprint of everyday bureaucratic tasks?
